Sleep up to 6 guests in this 700 sf east garden level, one bedroom suite, which is similar to the Madrid Suite, but gains a full size fridge/freezer, Bosch dishwasher and more kitchen space. The bright red L-shaped sofa and two small armchairs are perfect for movie night, games, or conversations. You control the heated “Coppertone” slate floors and gas fireplace timer to make this home cozy. The kitchenette (no oven) is suited for basic cooking with 6 person table settings and includes supplies for the hot plate, toaster & Cuisinart toaster oven. The Kohler bathroom has beige tile surrounding the tub & shower and large vanity. Your east side private veranda has two Adirondack chairs and small table overlooking your private lawn area and dedicated parking spot.

Sleep up to 6 guests in this 700 sf west garden level, one bedroom suite that shares the same floor plan as the Monaco Suite: both are a perfect “home away from home” for a couple or small family. Controlling your heated “Madrid” slate floors and gas fireplace will invite you to curl up on the slip covered sofa or chair-and-a-half. Although the kitchenette (no oven) is smaller then Monaco’s, it is well suited for basic cooking with the microwave, hot plate, toaster & toaster oven. The smaller kitchen gains a 36” square dining table with the same 6 person cutlery & china settings. The Kohler bathroom has hand made Mexican terra cotta tiles surrounding the granite counter top, tub & shower. Your west side private veranda has two Adirondack chairs and small table overlooking your private lawn area & dedicated parking spot.

Paris (Two Bedroom) Hycroft Suite: 1234 West 15th Avenue

Sleep up to 7 guests in this 1,300 sf two level, two bedroom, two bathroom east side unit. Main level has a full gourmet kitchen with gas oven, 36" fridge/freezer & Bosch dishwasher with plenty of supplies for a 10-seat diner party, although there is cutlery & china settings for up to 12 people. The main floor living room also features a claw-foot tub in the guest bathroom. Upstairs has two king bedrooms, a laundry room with front loading washer & dryer and a Kohler bathroom with a thermostat walk-in slate shower. The heated floors are controlled automatically on each level with an easy manual override, and a timer on the gas fireplace. Perfect for large groups, families or two adult couples, or anyone wanting to shop at Granville Island or Meinhardt Fine Foods for a dinner party. Consider this suite for the same price as a 500sf room at most downtown 4-Star accommodations when you want “more then just a hotel”.

Sleep up to 9 guests in this 1,300sf two level, three bedroom, two bathroom unit; Vancouver’s largest licensed B&B suite! Same size as our Paris Suite next door, but with an extra bedroom. The main level has a full gourmet kitchen with Wolfe gas oven, 36” wide fridge/freezer & Bosch dishwasher with the same 10-seat dining & 12 person settings as the Paris Suite. The spacious private living room features an L-shaped Queen sofa bed, TV, fireplace & German upright piano (10am to 10pm only please), with a Kohler guest bathroom with cast iron tub. The 2nd level has 3 bedrooms (two King bedrooms & one Double bedroom), a front-loading washer & dryer and a Kohler bathroom with a thermostat walk-in slate shower. You can control the heated wood & slate floors and both fireplaces. Perfect for large groups, families or three adult couples, or anyone wanting to entertain at home. Consider this suite for the same price as two basic hotel rooms, and save on restaurant costs by cooking “at home”.

Full House sleep up to 26 guests in 4,000sf three level manor with 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 4 kitchens. No $25/night Extra Person Charges! We include dedicated parking spots & private phone lines with voice mail for each suite. Same size as our Paris Suite next door, but with an extra bedroom. See individual suite description for more details. Perfect for Weddings (Bridesmaids, Groomsman or out of town guests), Family Reunions or Corporate Retreats. We recommend booking Half or Whole House 6 months in advance as it only takes one booking to remove this option.

A day in a life...
The first thing you will notice is our emailed confirmation letter that contains your time-sensitive personal access code (example: 123456), allowing you to arrive on your own schedule and free you from the responsibility of bulky keys or access cards. These codes are given shortly after payment, but do not start working until check in, and stop working shortly after checkout, ensuring no overlapping suite access.
Hycroft address is easy to remember (1234 W15th) & close to the intersection of traffic routes from the Vancouver International Airport (YVR), the Blaine boarder crossing, #1 Trans Canada Highway and downtown Vancouver. Each suite comes with a dedicated on site parking spot and personal outdoor space with tables and chairs. When you enter your suite, you will understand why we claim to be your “home away from home”, and “more then just a hotel” as all suites contain a private bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen (or kitchenette) and living room. We include wired & wireless High-Speed Internet access and a private telephone line with free local calling.
Your bedroom has an iPhone clock radio, a spacious closet with organizers, and an iron & iron board nearby. We include a bathtub & shower, with granite counter tops and Kohler fixtures in all our suites. Enjoy the Purely Saltspring shampoo, conditioner & body wash infused with lavender & tangerine essential oils. Dry off with thick cotton towels and a warm floor. We provide amenities like hand & body lotions, built-in hairdryer, shave cream, Q-tips & cotton balls. Relax on the sofa in your private living room in front of your fireplace & TV. Your bedroom has down duvet & pillow with cotton sheets and a nightstand. You may choose to leave your car in your free dedicated parking spot while you walk to the South Granville Rise, call for a prompt taxi, or hop on the #10 Granville Late-Night Bus 3 blocks east that leaves every 5 minutes during rush hour for the downtown Granville Entertainment District. If you do not feel like going out for dinner, consider ordering in or preparing a heat-and-serve meal from Indish.ca or Vij's Rangoli. The more adventurous will spend the day on Granville Island or take a quick walk to Meinhardt Fine Foods in preparation for a gourmet meal and maybe a bottle of BC wine at home...I mean in your suite. Once home for the night, slip on a bathrobe. You can set multiple wake up alarms and enjoy your programmable coffee maker while the other sleeps in.
Control your room’s in-floor heat. The on-site manager Corie is available during the day, while your hosts Pam & Randy Vogel are available anytime by phone, text or email. We have over 65 combined years of Vancouver Westside living, and take pride in knowing all the unique hot spots, but we also provide each suite with the 2010 Zagat & Frommer’s Vancouver guides. We are always available for those taxi numbers, dinner reservations or directions. Our express checkout is the quickest in the industry as all you have to do is close the door behind you. Unlike hotels, your room is pre-paid with no additional charges for parking, Wi-Fi, telephone, food, snacks or lost keys. We like to provide “the little things” that make your stay with us a unique and wonderful experience!
